Yesterday Codemasters released its second mobile game, the iOS title Colin McRae Rally, and it has four additional mobile titles in the works, said a representative for the U.K.-based studio in an interview with VG247.
"We're readying a whole roster of games," said Gary Rowe, Codemasters' vice president of digital business. "Some are based on existing and familiar IP and others are completely new that have been developed exclusively for mobile."
Colin McRae Rally, which is now available on iOS, was made in the Unity engine, although its content is based on 2000's Colin McRae Rally 2.0. According to Rowe, three of Codemasters' four upcoming mobile titles are also being developed in Unity. The fourth will run on the Ego engine, which powered many of the studio's recent games, including Grid 2.
