Telltale Games may have just dropped our first look at new content for The Walking Dead, the developer's award-winning episodic video game based on Robert Kirkman's comics.
On Vine, Telltale posted a short clip titled "Day 2" that appears to show photographs of characters (including one named Vince), pieces of paper and evacuation orders, all rendered in The Walking Dead's inky illustration style. The video may be a teaser for the new content that will apparently precede a second season of The Walking Dead.
In February, The Walking Dead writer Gary Whitta said fans "won't have to wait for season two to play more Walking Dead." After the success of the original five-episode series, Telltale started developing new content to "make the wait for season two slightly less agonizing," Whitta said.
"Knowing that it's a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead... There may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two," said Whitta.
On the official E3 website, Telltale Games' exhibitor page lists The Walking Dead Season 1 DLC alongside another announced project from the company, The Wolf Among Us.
Update: Telltale has shared a second clip on Vine, titled "Day 220," featuring a photo of a young woman whose name appears to be Bonnie. Another piece of paper behind the photo bears the word "Georgia," suggesting upcoming content for The Walking Dead will take place in the same state as the first game. View the clip below.
Update 2: A third clip has been posted to Vine featuring a student in graduation regalia who appears to be named Russell.
Update 3: Another teaser titled "Day 236" has been posted to Vine showing a new character named Shel. This follows the appearance of a listing on the Steam database for a 400 Days DLC for The Walking Dead.
Update 4: Telltale teased a fifth character, Wyatt, with another Vine clip. Towards the end it shows the number 400 in bright lettering.
