A new promotional video for free-to-play MMORPG Dragon's Prophet is a more musical and heavy metal take on trailers than usual.
The trailer discusses the creation of humans in the game's world of Auratia. Long ago, there existed a single Dragon God, or "DraGod," who in his loneliness created other dragons and eventually mankind. The trailer draws a distinction between those things that are "not metal," e.g, flamingos, chickens and cacti, and those that are, namely dragons.
According to the trailer, the game footage alongside the music is "100% authentic #SuperMetal gameplay."
Dragon's Prophet is currently in open beta, and publisher Sony Online Entertainment has not yet announced a release date.
