Ninjas are supposed to relish in the honor of dying gloriously in battle, but as this trailer shows, the protagonist of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z disagrees.
Murdered by Ninja Gaiden mainstay Ryu Hayabusa, demon ninja Yaiba Kamikaze has been resurrected and is none too happy about his death. As he puts it, honor and death go together about as well as "hot sauce and [his] balls."
Before he can get his revenge on Ryu Hayabusa, however, he needs to get some post-revival practice in by slaughtering undead hordes en masse.
When Polygon checked out Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z at GDC this past March, the game's co-creator Keiji Inafune likened the relationship between Yaiba and Ryu to that between Dragon Ball Z hero Goku and his prideful rival Vegeta.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is scheduled to hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in early 2014.
