Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 may see a release on Windows PC [update]

Square Enix's action role-playing game, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, may be coming to Windows PC, according to a Lightning Returns promotional poster spotted by Reddit user Geno098.

The poster features the Windows PC logo along with logos of the other platforms the title was previously announced for, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Lightning Returns is the last instalment of the Final Fantasy 13 series. The two last titles were only released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Lightning Returns is slated to release in North America on Feb. 11 and Europe on Feb. 14. Polygon contacted Square Enix for more information about the possible Windows PC release and we will update this post when we learn more.

Update: A Square Enix spokesperson told Polygon "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms only. The poster ad in question erroneously indicated PC as a platform."
