Amazon.com subsidiary and U.K.-based rental service, LoveFilm, will no longer offer game rentals to new members, Gamebrit reports.
The service previously supplied video game rentals by mail. Early reports about the end of the service began last week. According to an email from the company at the time, it would "no longer be offering customers the chance to rent games through the LoveFilm by Post service." Gamebrit has since confirmed the discontinuation, which is already in effect for new users as of June 24.
LoveFilm has not yet released details on how this change will affect existing customers. The site still houses new game releases, including The Last of Us, Deadpool and Remember Me.
