The Elder Scrolls Online beta expands with new invites

The beta for The Elder Scrolls Online is expanding with a new round of beta invites that developer ZeniMax Online began sending out yesterday, according to an update on the game's official website.

The invites will arrive via email to those who've registered for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game's beta at the official website. More invites will follow as the developer expands the beta.

"We've started to send another wave of invitations to the ESO beta, as we continue to ramp up our beta program," the update reads. "Invites will be going out over the next few hours, so check your email periodically to see if you've been invited to the test. Don't forget to check your spam folder! We're looking forward to the next beta session and can't wait for more of you to see the game."

The Elder Scrolls Online is headed to Mac, Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in spring 2014. For more on the game, be sure to check out Polygon's impressions of the MMORPG from earlier this year.
