A new trailer for Pikmin 3 introduces the three playable characters, tiny astronauts from the planet of Koppai.
Despite their diminutive size, Alph, Brittany and Charlie are on a mission to save their home planet, which is direly close to running out of food. They must harness the power of the plantlike Pikmin on the planet PNF-404 to find and recover fruit which they can bring back to their people.
A previous trailer introduced the various kinds of Pikmin that the three astronauts can utilize in their quest. Pikmin 3 hits Wii U on Aug. 4.
