When Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, the internet responded in kind with a flood of Henry Rollins jokes, “TV Party” references, punk rock puns and PhotoShopped images of the game’s protagonist Edward Kenway.
Best Buy takes Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’s most obvious joke to heart

Michael McWhertor is a journalist with more than 17 years of experience covering video games, technology, movies, TV, and entertainment.
One of those altered images, featuring former Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins’ face digitally slapped onto Kenway’s body, ultimately wound up on Best Buy Canada’s website. Either some loose nut at Best Buy’s web department is in on the gag and slipped it in, or the vetting process at the store’s online arm is damaged in some way.
To the best of our knowledge, Rollins will not be one of the many unlockable pre-order incentives in Assassin’s Creed 4 and we’d expect the error to be rectified.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is bound for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
