Skullgirls hits PC Aug. 22

Pre-orders for the Steam version will begin Aug. 1 on Valve’s digital distribution service. Beginning earlier this month, those who backed the game’s IndieGoGo campaign with at least $36 could claim a Steam code for the PC beta. Skullgirls is also headed to Japanese arcades and is currently available through Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Skullgirls’ IndieGoGo campaign, launched by former employees of original developer Reverge Labs, ended in late March having raised nearly $830,000, well beyond the initial goal of $150,000.
