PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to pick up Jet Set Radio HD free as part of the Instant Game Collection this week, and receive a 20 percent discount on pre-orders for four upcoming PlayStation Network titles, Sony announced today.
The PlayStation Vita version of Jet Set Radio HD was a launch title for PS Plus on the handheld last November, but this is the first time the PlayStation 3 version of the street-skating game will be available free on Sony's subscription service. It regularly costs $9.99. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD joined the Instant Game Collection last week, and other games set to be added this month include Dokuro and Metal Slug XX.
The PS Plus deals continue with the PlayStation Move adventures Sorcery, Carnival Island and Datura, which will each be on sale for half price — $5 for the first two games, and $2.50 for the latter. Plus members will also be able to pick up the PS Vita title Draw Slashers at a 20 percent discount, $3.19 instead of $3.99.
Sony will also kick off its annual PlayStation Store Play promotion next week, with four games going on sale for PS Plus members and discounts for everyone who buys more than one of the titles. Curve Studios' Stealth Inc. - A Clone in the Dark (formerly known as Stealth Bastard) will be released July 23 for $9.99 on PS3 and PS Vita. Pwnee Studios' Cloudberry Kingdom will be available July 30 on PS3 for $9.99. The PS3 title ibb and obb, from Sparpweed and Codeglue, will launch Aug. 6 for $9.99. And the Play schedule will conclude with the Aug. 13 release of WayForward Technologies' DuckTales Remastered for $14.99 on PS3.
PS Plus subscribers will receive a 20 percent discount ($7.99 for the first three games, and $11.99 for the fourth) on pre-orders or purchases of each title. Sony is also offering cash back on the PS Store to anyone who buys two, three or four of the Play titles — $3, $6 and $10, respectively.
