PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD hits PS Vita July 30

PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD, Double Eleven Limited's port of Q-Games' tower defense game, will arrive on North American PlayStation Vitas July 30, Double Eleven's Kirsten Cummins announced today on the PlayStation Blog.

According to Cummins, the portable version of the game will retail for $14.99. PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD will arrive in Europe and "the majority of Asia" the following day, July 31, and the port's Japanese release date will be announced "soon."

"PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD game has been faithfully recreated for PS Vita in high definition, with 30+ hours of gameplay, online and ad-hoc co-op play and everything you loved about all the previous editions," Cummins wrote. "Our very talented team put a lot of work into making this the definitive edition of Monsters!"

Late last month, Double Eleven, the developer of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and the portable port of Limbo, and Q-Games announced a partnership to collaborate on projects. The companies revealed PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD the following day.
