At Comic-Con today, Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono said that Capcom is considering a balance update for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and asked fans to discuss changes they'd like to see in the fighting game.
Responding to a fan request for an update to the game, which first hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late 2011, Ono said that Capcom was considering it — especially after the game's appearance at the Evo fighting game championship — but indicated that budget concerns were holding things back.
"After watching [Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3] at Evo this year," Ono said through a translator, "we [see that we] do have things here and there that could be balanced better." Ono added that "in terms of content, we don't really have any ideas about how to make the game better," but asked fans to discuss the changes they'd like to see.
"Maybe we can make something happen," he said. "Maybe."
Capcom announced at Evo 2013 last weekend that it was issuing a new round of balance updates to Super Street Fighter 4 with the release of Ultra Street Fighter 4 next year.
