Tekken Revolution will receive a "major update" including new modes, features and character customization on July 24 in Europe and by the "end of the month" in North America, Namco Bandai announced via the game's website.
Players of the free-to-play fighting game will be able to purchase new character costumes through the PlayStation Store, as well as premium effects, or special moves. Premium effects for Hwoarang and Dragunov are expected in a future update. Revolution's practice mode will also be accessible without the need for coins.
The update introduces a new "enhanced" Arcade mode, which includes normal, hard and very hard difficulty levels and increased rewards. In addition to several game balance changes, the level cap has also been raised from 50 to 60.
