Persona 3 movie to be released in Japan Nov. 23

Persona 3: The Movie is set to be released in cinemas in Japan on Nov. 23, according to a new movie poster and trailer on the film's official website flagged by the NeoGAF forum.

The film, labelled Persona 3 Movie #1, is expected to be the first in an unspecified number of productions, according to the official website, although it is not yet known how many movies will be made. The film was first announced in June of 2012 during the final scene of the Persona 4 The Animation: The Factor of Hope film.

Persona 3 was released in North America in 2007 for PlayStation 2, and has since been re-released on PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
