Martian Manhunter, the recently announced new combatant for Netherrealm Studios' DC Universe fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us, will arrive as DLC for the game July 30, a post on the game's U.K. Facebook page confirmed yesterday.
According to the post, Martian Manhunter will arrive next Tuesday for players of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game — no word was given for the Wii U launch date of the new character. We've reached out to representatives for publisher Warner Bros. Interactive to find out if that date applies to Martian Manhunter's North American arrival, and when we can expect him to arrive on Nintendo's home console.
We've also inquired about the price — Martian Manhunter is the first character for Injustice: Gods Among Us to not be included in the game's Season Pass, so anyone who wants him will need to pay up. Previous characters could be purchased piecemeal for $5 (or 400 Microsoft Points).
