Oculus VR and IndieCade will hold a three-week game jam called VR Jam where developers create content for the Oculus Rift.
The event kicks off Aug. 2 and ends Aug. 25. Participants will compete in two categories: Selected Developers and Open Call. Selected developers will face off on hand-picked teams of 10, while Open Call allows any independent developer to register and compete.
Applicants will be judged by Oculus VR and IndieCade, and winners will be announced Sept. 19. Games are scored by their innovation and virtual reality design.
Prizes total more than $50,000 and include a $10,000 price for the winners of either category. Registration, rules and more are available on Oculus VR's website.
