Space-faring MMO Vendetta Online is the first in its genre to officially support Oculus Rift, with full compatibility for the virtual reality headset available beginning today, developer Guild Software announced.
For now VR compatibility is limited to the Windows PC version of the game; however, the studio confirms plans to expand to other platforms. Vendetta is currently available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices, and Ouya. Windows versions will automatically detect Rift compatibility upon startup of the game.
Vendetta Online made its debut way back in 2002. A free trial of the game is available here, which gives you a total of eight hours of gameplay (although the game uses a subscription-based business model if you want any more than that.)
