Syndicate spritual successor surpasses Kickstarter goal

Satellite Reign, 5 Lives Studios' spiritual successor to the Syndicate series, achieved its £350,000 goal on Kickstarter and will continue to gather funds until July 28.

The campaign, which launched in late June, will now turn to its stretch goals. New levels begin at £380,000 and extend to £650,000. Possible additions include additional translations, new factions, an additional series composer and a multiplayer co-op campaign.

In Satellite Reign, players take charge of a four-man team battling for control of a cyberpunk-inspired city. The game is class-based strategy and includes play styles for brute force, stealth, hacking and more.

Satellite Reign is being developed for Windows PC, Mac and Linux.
