F1 2013 launching Oct. 8 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

F1 2013 will launch Oct. 8 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC, developer Codemasters announced today alongside the release of new in-game footage featuring Hungary's Hungaroring circuit, prior to this weekend's Formula 1 Magyar Nagydij 2013.

Featuring narration from driver and technical consultant Anthony Davidson, the footage offers a closer look at the Hungarian circuit and describes how drivers should tackle each corner.

F1 2013 will The game will reflect all rule changes from the 2013 season, along with this year's cars and drivers. Players will be able to race as Lewis Hamilton, Segio Perez, among others.

You can also expect a new gameplay mode, F1 Classics, which features classic cars and iconic circuits and racers, along with a fictional racing series taking place in the 1980s. Additional content will be available in the premium edition of the game, F1 2013: Classic Edition, including "1990s Content" and "Classic Tracks". These will both be made available as optional DLC in F1 2013.
