FIFA 14 Ultimate Team trailer talks new features, fan favorites

A new trailer for FIFA 14's Ultimate Team game mode discusses what the developers are adding to EA Sports' soccer series, and what they're bringing back.

As previously detailed, the new Chemistry system allows players to give their players specific skill types that can complement one another on the soccer pitch. In the trailer, the developer gives his striker a "powerhouse" role for better defense and stronger passes, and the wing players the "sniper" role for extra accuracy in passes and shots.

FIFA 14 brings back the "Single Online Match" mode at fan request, as well as incorporating a slew of fan feedback into managing the team rosters and acquiring one's favorite players. The division mode has been made larger, and the developers will allow players to manually manage their squads, being able to choose who takes left-side corner kicks rather than relying on automated algorithms.

The developers will be allowing players who start FIFA 14 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to migrate their teams, players, standings, trophies and coins to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 once the next-generation consoles hit the market.

FIFA 14 launches this September for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Android devices, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable, Wii (but not Wii U), Windows PC and PlayStation 2. It will hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.
