A new Elder Scrolls Online blog post discusses the development of the implike Scamp enemy, with a trailer showing it in action.
Elder Scrolls Online trailer introduces the vicious, tiny Scamp
“Fans of Morrowind and Oblivion will definitely recognize this Daedra,” reads the blog post. Scamps are small creatures summoned to do simple tasks, and while not particularly bright make up for it with cruelty. The developers looked at the concept art for the Scamp to properly convey its attitude in look and animations, to “capture its agility and attitude.”
In the trailer above, Scamps can be seen swarming the player character, hitting him with fireballs.
The Elder Scrolls Online is planned for a Spring 2014 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Mac.
