Puddle heading to iOS Aug. 1 in Europe

Neko Entertainment's water-based puzzle platformer, Puddle, will launch for iOS in Europe Aug. 1, the developer announced via press release.

The game will be available for €2.69 at launch before returning to its standard €4.49 price tag. In Puddle, players guide a water blob through obstacles and puzzles while trying to reach the end of each level. In addition to 48 levels and 8 environments, Puddle features 22 achievements, rankings on Game Center iOS and is compatible with iPhone 5 and iPad 4 retina display.

Release dates in other territories have not been announced. We've reached out to the developer and will update accordingly.

Puddle is available for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Windows PC, Mac, Linux and Android. The game was released for North America's Wii U eShop as well in January, following its European launch.
