A new video shows Assassin Creed 4: Black Flag's co-op multiplayer mode in action.
In the video, VG247 gives a brief hands-on overview of how the co-op play works in Ubisoft's upcoming nautical assassin game. In one type of gameplay, two assassins must work together in defending their treasure from thieves; in another they must avoid "infected" enemies who are only killable once the player has collected a temporary power-up.
Players must work together in these missions, whether communicating to further synchronize with the environment, rescuing one another when incapacitated, or timing simultaneous kills for extra points.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U this October, with a PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version coming at a later date.
