Pokemon Tretta arcade game players will be able to sort and inspect their Pokemon on Nintendo's 3DS using the Tretta Lab, as shown by a new Japanese trailer.
Pokemon Tretta launched in Japan last year. The arcade title uses round tiles, or Tretta, each of which displays a different character. Players drop different Trettas into the arcade machine to do battle.
Tretta Lab works through three different modes. Using the Tretta Analyzer, players can view a Pokemon's stats and type. The Type Checker will allow players to compare different Pokemon to find ideal combinations, while the third mode, Auto Battle, sends characters into fights. Check out the trailer above to see it in action.
Tretta Lab attaches to both the Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL by way of a base unit. It also includes a scanner that reads Tretta tiles at the top of each unit.
