Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD remaster to reportedly include new 30-minute scene

The Final Fantasy 10/10-2 remaster will apparently feature a new 30-minute scene penned by series writer Kazushige Nojima, Gematsu reports.

The news comes from a scan of the latest issue of Japanese magazine Jump. The scene will apparently take place after the ending credits, though it's unclear if there will be additional scenes in one or both games.

In addition to Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 10-2, Nojima wrote the lyrics to in-game songs "Suteki da Ne" and "Hymn of the Fayth." He is also responsible for writing titles such as Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and the Kingdom Hearts series.

We've contacted Square Enix for comment and will update accordingly. The HD remaster of Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2 will launch later this year for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Check out our hands-on preview from E3 2013 for more information.
