In addition to studio co-founder John Carmack's keynote, QuakeCon 2013 will livestream its mainstage presentations, including gameplay of The Elder Scrolls Online, QuakeCon organizers announced today.
The Elder Scrolls Online gameplay will be streamed through Bethesda's Twitch channel on Friday, Aug. 2 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Bethesda will host all other presentations and talks on its Twitch channel as well.
On Saturday, Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. ET, id Software art director Hugo Martin will present "From Sketchbook to the Big Screen," a talk detailing how he designed concept art for the gigantic Jaegers mechs featured in Guillermo del Toro's recently released film, Pacific Rim.
Other notable talks include an attendee-exclusive demo presentation of Tango Gamesworks' The Evil Within from Bethesda Softworks producer Jason Bergman at noon ET on Aug. 2, a presentation on MachineGames Wolfenstein: The New Order at 3 p.m. ET, and a showing of Arkane Studios' The Brigmore Witches DLC for Dishonored — featuring co-creative director Raphael Colantonio, lead designer Ricardo Bare and systems designer and associate producer Seth Shain — on Aug. 3 at noon ET.
The QuakeCon keynote, given by Carmack on Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m. ET, will also be livestreamed, as well as his talk "The Principles of Lighting and Rendering" the following evening at 6 p.m. ET. A full streaming schedule is available on the QuakeCon website.
Earlier this month, Bethesda announced that Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Elder Scrolls Online and Dishonored's DLC would be playable for QuakeCon attendees.
