A new trailer for Disney Infinity highlights the game’s “Power Disc” feature, which allows players to customize their figures with special gadgets, mounts or locales.
Disney Infinity trailer shows mix-and-match gadgets and powers
By adding a Power Disc to the play set, the players’ version of Sulley from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. can equip a pair of wings, or ride a surfboard alongside space alien Stitch. The player can add the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story or Dumbo as a vehicle, and change the location of a Toy Box map from Wonderland to Halloween Town. Power Discs can be stacked for different combinations.
Disney Infinity hits Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on August 18.
