More DOTA 2 prize details released

This year's full prize breakdown for The International DOTA 2 Championships has been released by Valve. First prize for the event is $1,365,955, with $601,020 going to the runner-up and third-place gaining $273,191.

The International is due to take place at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Aug. 7-11, featuring the best DOTA 2 teams in the world. The prize pool was recently boosted by $1 million to $2.6 million thanks to sales of The Compendium, a guide to the contest. The 16 teams competing in the finals are as follows:
