Real Boxing heading to PS Vita Aug. 27

Vivid Games' portable boxing simulator, Real Boxing, will launch for PlayStation Vita Aug. 27 and will feature regular multiplayer tournaments.

Real Boxing allows players to transition from amateur fighters to pros through touch-based and physical controls. Few details were given about the game's tournaments, though players will be able to engage in ad-hoc or online matches. The Vita version of Real Boxing will also include leaderboard rankings, one-on-one battles and an improved combo system. Real Boxing will be available for $9.99. The game was announced for an August release in May. It's currently available as a universal app via the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
