Guacamelee on sale for European PSN until July 17

Guacamelee is now on sale for £7.99 on the European PlayStation store until July 17, DrinkBox Studios announced today.

The game features cross-buy and cross-save support between PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems, along with same-screen multiplayer co-op. PlayStation 3 owners can also check out DrinkBox Studios' title Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, which is currently on sale for £2.79 on PlayStation Network.

Guacamelee launched earlier in April, receiving a 9 out of 10 review from Polygon. "There are plenty of retro-themed 2D releases mining 8- and 16-bit nostalgia and concepts, but very few are crafted with Guacamelee's expertise," it reads. "If you stripped away the knowing winks at other games, it would still be noteworthy." You can check that out right here.
