Channel 10's Network Ten Xbox app is set to arrive on Australian Xbox 360s on July 10, making it the first commercial free-to-air network video on-demand application available through the console in Australia, Microsoft and Network Ten announced today.

The Network Ten Xbox app offers Xbox Gold Live subscribers access to more than 25 programs including The Graham Norton Show (not available at launch), Modern Family, The Simpsons and Elementary. News from Ten News At Five and Ten Late News will also be updated regularly. The programs will draw from Network 10's three channels: Ten, Eleven and One. The app also supports Xbox 360 Kinect voice and gesture commands to navigate content with.

"We are thrilled to be adding Network Ten programs to the Xbox platform and further expanding our content library. Our aim is to provide Australian Xbox LIVE members with the best and most popular television content, alongside movies, music and games, and now they will be able to access some of Australia's highest rated local and international shows," said Jeremy Hinton, Microsoft Australia's interactive entertainment business lead.

According to Network Ten’s chief digital officer, Rebekah Horne, the Xbox 360 app is the first step in Ten's "TV anywhere strategy," a goal to deliver TV content to consumers across multiple platforms and devices.
