Microsoft fans will have plenty to do at Comic-Con International in San Diego next week, such as playing Xbox One and Xbox 360 games and attending a variety of panels, Major Nelson announced today.

The company will have a physical presence on the Comic-Con show floor at booth #100, with hands-on availability for Xbox One games including Ryse: Son of Rome and Killer Instinct. The show floor will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18 through Saturday, July 20, and from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 21.

Both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games will be playable at Microsoft's offsite gaming lounge, which will sit in the Manchester Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego hotel. It will feature more than a dozen playable offerings from Microsoft Studios and third-party publishers, including Dead Rising 3 (Xbox One), Halo: Spartan Assault (Windows 8) and Halo 4's Champions Bundle DLC (Xbox 360).

The lounge will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18 through Saturday, July 20, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 21. Visitors must have a Comic-Con badge in order to get in.

Microsoft is also participating in four panels during the show.

The Halo team at 343 Industries will discuss the ever-expanding Halo universe during "Inside the Looking Glass: Building Halo Worlds and Wonders, Past, Present...and Future" (11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., July 18). Crytek will host a behind-the-scenes panel on its Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome, called "Bringing the Roman Empire to Life on Xbox One: The Creation of Ryse: Son of Rome" (5-6 p.m., July 18).

Major Nelson himself will be moderating "The Future of Xbox Gaming Revealed" (11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., July 20), a panel about Xbox One hardware and software. And members of Capcom Vancouver will be on hand, along with critics and writers, at "The Video Game Culture of Zombies - How Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One Kicks Off a New Generation of Mayhem" (1:30-2:30 p.m., July 20).

Polygon will be in attendance at Comic-Con to bring you all the latest from the show.
