The hero-centric addition to the Scribblenauts franchise, Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure, launches Sept. 24, according to a recent press release.

Scribblenauts Unmasked follows Maxwell and his sister Lily as they travel into the DC universe. Using Maxwell’s magic notebook, the duo can summon different characters and objects to solve puzzles. The game will feature more than 2,000 comic characters for players to experiment with, and heroes are available in many different versions, as demonstrated by an infographic released along with the date.
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will be available for Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC. For more on the game, check out our interview with 5th Cell general manager Joseph Tringali on how the game forgoes violent characters to be more kid friendly.
