Outcast creators unveil new studio, working on next-gen title

The creators of Outcast, the Windows PC adventure game released in 1999, revealed their new studio called Daoka and its plans to release a new game on next-gen consoles.

Daoka is the merger of AMA Studios S.A. and former devs from of Outcast developer Appeal: Yann Robert, Franck Sauer and Yves Grolet. Earlier this month, the three devs announced that they bought the Outcast IP from Atari with intentions to revive the franchise. The trio "now continue to work and collaborate" with Daoka.

According to the latest announcement, Daoka will soon reveal the next-gen game it has been developing for the past two years. The studio will also develop future Outcast franchise games.
