The latest Pokémon X and Y Mega Evolution introduced for the upcoming game is MegaKangaskhan, director Junichi Masuda revealed at the 2013 Pokémon World Championships.
In the MegaKangaskhan state, its infant exits the pouch to participate in the battle, allowing players to use the Parental Bond ability where they can attack twice in one turn. Mega Evolutions, revealed last week, allows certain Pokémon to change mid-battle by using that monster's respective Mega Stone. Current Mega Evolutions announced include MegaBlaziken, MegaAbsol, MegaMawile, MegaMewtwo, MegaLucario and MegaAmpharos. It was also revealed at the 2013 Pokémon World Championships that a Pokémon X and Y soundtrack featuring 202 songs will hit iTunes worldwide in November. Pokémon X and Y is slated to launch worldwide on Oct. 12 for Nintendo 3DS.
