Bohemia shares more than an hour of Arma 3 gameplay

Bohemia Interactive has shared more than an hour of Arma 3 gameplay footage, offering prospective players a look at the upcoming tactical military shooter's release package.

The video demonstrates the NATO faction showcase, one of three available at the game's release, a firing drill, Arma 3's scenario editor and tank gameplay. The devs also give a helicopter tour of the game's setting of the Aegean islands of Altis.

At launch, Sept. 12 for Windows PC, the game will feature 12 single player missions and nine multiplayer scenarios, along with three faction showcases, 10 firing drill challenges, 20 vehicles and more than 40 different weapons. Arma 3's scenario editor and modding support will also be available from launch.

The game's campaign will be released post-launch as a trio of free DLC episodes. Beginning a month after launch, the first episode "Survive" will hit followed by "Adapt" and "Win" in the later months.
