Race the Sun, Flippfly's high-speed minimalist endless runner, will be released on Windows PC, Mac and Linux next week, Aug. 19. Coming alongside that release will be a new, extra-challenging world, Apocalypse, "for the most devoutly masochistic."
A newly released gameplay video of Race the Sun's Apocalypse mode, embedded below, shows how quickly death can come while flying through the game's obstacle-filled stages and fighting to stay in daylight.
Race the Sun is available for pre-order through Flippfly's website for $10. The game, which squeaked past its Kickstarter funding goal of $20,000 earlier this year, is currently up for consideration through Steam Greenlight.
