The latest trailer for WRC: FIA World Rally Championship 4 gives players a look at the icy rally stages set in Sweden, highlighting the game's new weather effects.
World Rally Championship 4, slated to launch this October on PlayStation 3, Vita, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, will feature rallies from the 2013 WRC season, along with the top WRC teams and drivers. Of the 2013 WRC season, the 22 Swedish-located stages were the only snow surface rounds of the season.
The latest instalment of the franchise uses developer Milestone's new Spikengine — first used in WRC 3 FIA World Rally Championship — which grants the series upgraded graphics, lighting and weather effects. This year's instalment will be published by European video game distributor Bigben Interactive, where previous year's titles were released by Sony and Black Bean Games, respectively.
