Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature "more perks than we've ever had before" and offer new ways for players to select them, according to Infinity Ward executive producer, Mark Rubin.
At a Call of Duty: Ghosts press conference today, Rubin revealed that the perks system, which grants players with special abilities on the Battlefield, now uses points. Each perk has a set point value between one to five, and players will have eight points in total to spend on perks. This means a player can choose eight perks valued at one point, or four perks valued at two points or any other value combination that totals eight. The perks are part of the game's customization system.
Some of the perks revealed during the press conference include: Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw, Stopper, Agility, Off the Grid, Ping, Scavenger, Blast Shield, Strong Arm, Takedown and Deadeye. The perk Painkiller, which appeared in Modern Warfare 2, is not in Ghosts.
