Time is an illusion, memory is unreliable and aliens are infiltrating Earth in a story trailer for the remake of classic 1992 cinematic platformer Flashback.
Player character Conrad B. Hart awakens to find that he has no memory, and that he carries a message ostensibly from his past self warning him of a plot by shape-shifting aliens to infiltrate the government and destroy Earth. As the trailer shows, however, the invasion has already begun and stopping it will not be easy.
Flashback hits Xbox Live Arcade on Aug. 22, with Windows PC and PlayStation Network versions launching at a later date.
