Resumé update suggests Lord of the Rings return

A LinkedIn resumé update has revealed potential plans for a new next-gen Lord of the Rings game from Warner Bros.

A Seattle-based artist was spotted by Kotaku, updating a three-month stint in late 2012 and early 2013 working on "storyboards for Lord of the Rings AAA title for Warner Brothers Interactive."

The last Warner Bros LoTR game was MOBA console title Guardians of Middle-Earth (pictured), released in the fall of 2012. Monolith, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. and based in Seattle, advertised in May for a producer to work on an open world action-adventure game.
