World of Warcraft patch 5.4 trailer brings the war home

A new trailer for World of Warcraft's patch 5.4, "Siege of Orgrimmar," features the leader of the Horde finally making his full-fledged turn as a villain.

In the trailer, Horde warchief Garrosh Hellscream brings a locked chest into the sacred Vale of Eternal Blossoms before being confronted by the warrior Taran Zhu. The two exchange barbed words about Garrosh's father Grom, whose downfall was a major plot point in Warcraft 3, and come to blows.

Garrosh is counting on the races of the Alliance and those he has excommunicated from the Horde to join forces and assault the Orcish capital city of Orgrimmar; the trailer shows some of the new boss fights and environments to come in the upcoming raid as players battle their way through the city and into the catacombs below. Garrosh concludes the trailer by unleashing the corrupting influence of the Sha of Pride into the Vale, twisting its idyllic landscape.

The Siege of Orgrimmar raid instance will have fourteen bosses and will contain the city of Orgrimmar itself, the beginning-level dungeon Ragefire Chasm, and new areas that have been added beneath the city.

Patch 5.4 will be the last major content patch in Mists of Pandaria.
