Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse coming early September

The high-definition remake of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse will launch on PlayStation Network Sept. 3 and on Xbox Live Arcade and Windows PC Sept. 4, publisher Sega announced today.

The game will be available for $14.99.

Pre-orders placed for Castle of Illusion through PlayStation Network between Aug. 20 and Sept. 2 will net buyers a copy of the original 1990 Sega Genesis version of the game, as well as a dynamic theme exclusive to pre-orders and three Castle of Illusion avatars. The original Genesis version will be available for download immediately after a pre-order is placed.
