Classic SNES game Breath of Fire 2 is making the leap to North American Wii U Virtual Consoles "in the coming months," Capcom announced today.
This follows yesterday's announcement of a new Breath of Fire game for Windows PC and mobile devices in Japan. The company has yet to confirm whether these will eventually become available in the West. Breath of Fire 6 is being designed for touch-based devices, and will include shareable progress across platforms including Windows PC.
The original Breath of Fire was released to SNES in 1993, then later switched to PlayStation from the third game onward. Breath of Fire 4 launched in 2000, followed by Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter for PlayStation 2 in 2002.
