Payday 2 trailer explains the money-vault training chamber safehouse

A new video for Payday 2 goes over the player's safehouse, where he or she returns after a successful heist.

The safehouse in Payday 2 serves two functions. It serves as a physical display of the player's wealth that he or she has accumulated, with piles of money lying in the vault. The player can also purchase items to use as decoration, according to game director David Goldfarb.

It also serves a practical purpose, allowing players to practice their techniques at breaking, entering and looting without cops shooting at them, and letting them test their weapons out in a shooting gallery.

Payday 2 hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on August 27.
