Rainbow Skies, an isometric, turn-based role-playing game from German indie developer SideQuest Studios, is set for release in 2014 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, the studio announced today.
It is an "indirect sequel" to SideQuest's previous game, Rainbow Moon, according to SideQuest CEO Marcus Pukropsi. Rainbow Moon launched last summer on PlayStation Network for PS3 and is on its way to PS Vita.
Rainbow Skies is set in a new world, and its story isn't connected to that of Rainbow Moon. It takes place in two parallel worlds, and SideQuest says it builds on last year's game with new features like monster taming, an improved battle system and buildings that players can explore. The game will also support Cross-Play across PS3 and PS Vita.
