Cobalt is slated to hit Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it was announced today during Microsoft's Xbox One event in Cologne.
The game, first announced in 2011, is being developed by Oxeye Studios in collaboration with Minecraft developer Mojang. We recently interviewed Mojang developer Daniel Kaplan about the noticeable silence from both developers with regards to Cobalt, which you can read right here.
Cobalt is being described as a multiplayer action game that combines everything from rolling and shooting to hacking and whatever "piñata-ing" means. The team is in the process of working on a map editor that will release with the game, to allow for modding using Lua scripting language.
