The latest trailer for Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division shows off the game's companion gaming feature, in which players on mobile devices can log into and participate in other players' games.
Players can join their friends' games as a drone by logging in anywhere with a smartphone or tablet. Gameplay can be simultaneous and asymmetrical. The trailer above shows how players can participate in real time in a friend's game; one player logs in remotely from a tablet and can assist the player in the console version of The Division.
The Division will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. There is currently no announced release date.
