FIFA 14 demo hits Sept. 10, mobile will be free-to-play

A demo for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC versions of FIFA 14 will be released Sept. 10, publisher Electronic Arts announced during its Gamescom 2013 press briefing today.

EA Sports head Andrew Wilson also announced that for the first time, the mobile versions of FIFA 14 will be free-to-play.

You can check out gameplay footage of FIFA 14 in a new trailer above that features narration from Sir Patrick Stewart. The game will be released Sept. 24 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and at launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA 14 will contain exclusive content for the Ultimate Team mode: soccer legends. And in Europe, all Xbox One pre-orders come with a digital copy of FIFA 14.
